It’s time for my favorite finds of the week: Fall edition! And it should be of no surprise that it is centered around all things Pumpkin and Fall. Here we go!
BIG FAT DISCLAIMER: My favorite finds of the week are exactly that – “my” favorite finds. They are never influenced by any type of advertising or partnership between myself and the brands. Never am I paid to endorse anything in my favorite finds. (But seriously, wouldn’t it be nice if they paid me afterward for the mention? Moving on.)
Siggi’s Pumpkin & Spice Yogurt. I was a die-hard Chobani fan, but given the recent recall – and worse, the company’s hesitation in letting consumers know about it – I decided to try other brands of yogurt. I’m a fan of the Greek-style kinds since they are creamier and generally contain less fat and double the protein as regular yogurts. Of the many I’ve tried recently, Siggi’s Pumpkin and Spice yogurt is by far my favorite. Their milk comes from grass fed cows that have not been injected with any growth hormones, they do not add any artificial sweeteners, colorings or preservatives, and they do not use aspartame or gelatin. (I’m all about the clean food.) They also have a great story behind the brand. Obsessed!
Make at home Pumpkin Spice Latte. On the days you aren’t ready to pony up $5 or more for a S-bucks Pumpkin Spice Latte, you can make your own version at home. This recipe uses regular coffee rather than espresso, but it does satisfy the craving in a way that involves real pumpkin and not syrup. You can find that recipe here: Make at home pumpkin spice latte.
This hat, made by Material Curl. Natalie of Material Curl hand-makes deliciously adorable baby accessories such as this little hat I ordered for Penelope. My favorite part about it is the flower, which is actually a hair clip that you can take off and use by itself if you want. I absolutely love it and, as you can see, so does little P! It’s our favorite Fall accessory. Go like Natalie’s page on Facebook here: Material Curl. You’ll get to see all the adorable stuff she makes and obsess over it as much as I do. She is taking orders up until October 31st before temporarily closing for the holiday season, so if you like her stuff as much as I do, be sure to order before then.
