So completely worth the watch! I tried this myself in my kitchen last night – not only was I completely shocked at how well it worked, but I got a kick-ass arm workout at the same time. Win-win!

Hi Alessandra! I can’t believe this works but you said it does and I SAW it – LOL
Pretty cool! My husband grows garlic and believe it or not, I received 3 (not 1, not 2 but 3) garlic mincers for Christmas this year. They are all different from one another. I guess someone (3 people) have my number!
I can’t wait to try this trick! Thanks!
Lori
Hi Lori! I could not believe it either, I had to try for myself and was totally amazed when I looked into the bowl! About your garlic mincers, too funny! I planted garlic for the first time this year, I am waiting to harvest in the spring but so far there are lots of green chutes coming out of the soil, so keeping my fingers crossed…..Let me know how it goes when you try the trick!
@Ali Mac I’m not sure about the garlic growing – that’s my husband’s area, but I think he plants in the fall and harvests in the fall. Check into it to be sure! It seems to take 2 years to get anything very large and then you get plenty of cloves to plant for the following year. I believe last fall he sprinkled the tiny cloves that come from the flowers (?) onto tilled soil and they started popping up! I do know one thing, though. There is nothing like fresh garlic for baking! Yum!
I will double check, thanks for the tips! I researched before and for my area everything I read said plant in fall, harvest in spring, so hoping that is right…I did hear also like you said that it takes a while to get anything large so my expectations are low… 😉 Fresh garlic in baking?! I don’t think I ever used it in baking! What is good?
@Ali Mac 😮 I think I meant to say cooking rather than baking! Salads and hummus are so much better with fresh garlic.
Our growing season is shorter here so maybe it’s different where you are. It seems you plant the cloves and get small cloves and then the next year you plant the small cloves and get larger ones. I don’t really understand it lol Good luck with yours! It’s well worth the effort!
OH ok I was wondering about that! Thought maybe there was a new way to bake with garlic! Is that wierd that I was actually interested? LOL 😉
